President's Message

Once the first snowfall occurs, you know the ski season is not far away.  TSC staff will be putting the finishing touches on everything, preparing to welcome everyone back for another great year at our club.  A lot of planning goes into a ski season and our staff work hard planning Alpine programs, organizing the social calendar and generally getting the clubhouse ready for another busy winter season.
 
The TSC Alpine department, under the leadership of Jeff Jones, has been seeing great success with the number of podium finishes increasing year after year.  Last season saw the implementation of our new snowboard team which will continue to grow this year.  Jeff has worked closely with the membership to provide programs that best meet the membership's needs.  With the increased options available today for Alpine programs, our staff is continuing to evolve our programs to deliver the best in class programs.
 
A big part of skiing is the time we spend with our friends and family.  TSC has one of the best social calendars on the escarpment.  Every Saturday afternoon is planned with an après band or DJ as well as kid's apres ski programs and entertainment.  New this year will be some exciting themed après.  In addition to our Saturday afternoons, we also have our traditional events such as Opening Bash, Black Tie and Blue Jeans, Ladies Day and Men’s Day. 
 
To all our members, we look forward to seeing you back at the club for those first runs of the season.  To those of you who are not a member of TSC but would like to understand why we have been “Loving Winter since 1924”, we would love to talk to you.  We would be happy to take you for a personal tour through our newly-renovated facility which we are proud to show off.
