SNOW CENTRE PROGRAMS, AGES: 1-4
All programs start the weekend of January 7th & end March 4th.
NEW FOR 2011/12 - All Snow Centre programs will take lunch from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
SNOW CUBS – CHILD CARE AND SKIING (ages: 1-3 years old) - Rope Tow Only
This introduction to skiing is designed to help children feel comfortable on skis. We appreciate that children of this age do not have the endurance to stay in the cold for long periods of time, so we begin slowly and monitor the child so that this first experience is a positive one. We extend the time outside weekly as the child feels ready for their skiing progression.

It is important that we continue the groundwork that has been laid in the Snow Cubs. We spend a great deal of time ensuring that the children are comfortable with their development prior to moving on to more challenging terrain. Chairlift safety is a high priority and we ensure that there is a small student to Pro ratio. Classes are offered in the morning or afternoon.

MOUNTAIN HAWKS ½ DAY (ages: 5 – 6)
We continue the development of your youngsters by exposing them to more terrain on the mountain; our goal is skill development and controlled skiing. Some children are now old enough to spend more time in the outdoors so this program is both a full day or half day program.

SNOWSTARS (ages: 7 – 8)
This program is designed to be fun; an emphasis is placed on ski improvement, with mileage on varied terrain. We introduce race training at this level and host a fun race so both parents and athletes can sample the racing atmosphere that TSC has to offer.
