Race Team
RACING PROGRAMS, AGES: 9-14
All programs start the January 2nd & end the Feb 26th.
NEW FOR 2011/12 - All race programs will take lunch from 11:00am - 12:00pm.
New Year camp is included in all race program fees for 2011-12
Club Championships are March 3rd & 4th, 2012
*NEW FOR 2011-12! TSC SNOWBOARD RACE TEAM (ages: 8 – 18)
This new program provides snowboard race training in a team format. This Team will train as do all of TSC alpine race teams with hill space, courses, and great coaching! New Year camp (Jan 2-6) is included and there are optional camps including Sun Peaks, TSC Christmas Camp and TSC March Break Camp. Race events are individual competitions. Race schedules will be provided closer to the start of the season. Race entry fees are not included.

NANCY GREENE SKI LEAGUE (ages: 9 – 10)
An introduction to competitive racing focusing on skill development in a fun team atmosphere. Teams will be selected after the New Year Camp. No Downhill or GS Suits are allowed in Nancy Greene on race day. The “One Ski Rule” is no longer in effect. Nancy Greene athletes are now allowed to use more than 1 pair of skis.
Athletes younger than 9yrs. may participate in Nancy Greene with the approval of the Alpine Programs Manager.

K1 LEAGUE (ages: 11 – 12)
This program provides racing in a Team Format. Teams will be selected at the end of the Christmas Camp. Athletes will be grouped according to skill and age. Races will begin early January therefore we strongly recommend that all racers participate in the Christmas Camp. The schedule will include the following races. Stubby Slalom, Paneled Slalom, Giant Slalom and a Kombi. Semi-Finals are a slalom race and the Finals are a GS. Full Downhill suits are permitted without any cover-up. Additional AOS Camps are offered throughout the season for additional costs. K1 individual races which are held on Fridays, can be entered at an additional cost & at coaches discretion.

This program is for those wishing to continue racing in a team environment. Teams will be selected following the Christmas Camp. Athletes will be grouped according to skill and age. Races will begin early January we strongly recommend that all racers participate in the Christmas Camp. Downhill suits are permitted without any cover-up.
