All Mountain Ski Programs

U4 All Mountain Ski Program

Ages 2 - 3
Meeting Location: Rope Tow
Maximum Ratio: 1 Instructor : 1 Child

The U4 All Mountain Ski Program is designed to provide a fun, positive introduction to skiing for our youngest participants. The focus is on helping children become comfortable on skis while building confidence through play-based learning.

To provide the best possible learning experience, children are paired with a dedicated instructor in a 1:1 ratio until they are skiing independently. This individualized approach maximizes both progress and enjoyment.

Families may choose either:

  • On-hill skiing only, or
  • On-hill skiing with an afternoon Kids Corner/Nursery session.

We introduce opportunities to try fun obstacle courses, whiskers and terrain features when skiers are ready. All mountain skiing is a key component of this social skiing group.

Instructor Training Program - Ski

Ages 13 - 17 years
Meeting Location: Rope Tow

The Instructor in Training Program interfaces directly with TSC instructors and program participants. This is a "hands on" training program. Duties include assisting classes on and off the hill, as well as with special events. ITPs assist with classes in the morning and then attend a 2-hour afternoon session from 12:15–2:15 pm with senior instructors on proper technique and teaching methodology.

U8 COMPETITIVE PROGRAM​

U8 competitive program introduces young athletes to the foundations of ski racing through fun, skill-based activities. The focus is on developing strong fundamental skiing skills, agility, balance, coordination, and confidence in a variety of terrain and conditions. Athletes are introduced to gates while continuing to build mileage and a love for skiing.

Program Focus

  • Skill Development (50%) – Building fundamental skills, including balance, agility, coordination, and technical skiing through fun, progressive activities.
  • Free Skiing & Exploration (50%) – Developing confidence, creativity, and versatility by exploring varied terrain and conditions while building a strong love for skiing.

The focus is on refining technical skills, building confidence, exploring challenging terrain, and setting individual goals for personal progression. Athletes will continue to grow through a supportive team environment that encourages independence, enjoyment, and a lifelong passion for skiing.

  • Technical Development (30%) – Continuing to refine advanced skiing skills, improving efficiency, confidence, and control across varied terrain and snow conditions.
  • Applied Skiing, Challenge & Personal Progression (70%) – Applying skills in more challenging environments through guided mileage, terrain exploration, skill-based challenges, and optional race-inspired activities. Athletes continue to develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of skiing while progressing within the LTAD pathway.

  • Technical Development (30%) – Continuing to refine advanced skiing skills, improving efficiency, confidence, and control across varied terrain and snow conditions.
  • Applied Skiing, Challenge & Personal Progression (70%) – Applying skills in more challenging environments through guided mileage, terrain exploration, skill-based challenges, and optional race-inspired activities. Athletes continue to develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong enjoyment of skiing while progressing within the LTAD pathway.

Freestyle Programs

Freestyle Ski Program

On-Snow Time:  5 hours per day 

The Freestyle Ski Program is open to 8–14 year old athletes. The program is designed for intermediate skiers and above. The emphasis is to have FUN while working on skill development through guided mileage and lots of skiing on varied terrain in and out of the park. Freestyle elements and terrain features will be introduced when skiers are ready for bigger challenges.

Snowboard Programs

Mini Snowboard Program

Ages 3 - 5
Meeting Location: Rope Tow
Maximum Ratio: 1 Instructor : 1 Child

The Mini Junior Snowboard Program is designed to be a fun introduction to snowboarding open to 3–5 year old snowboarders. The program is focused on getting children comfortable sliding on the hill. We offer a 1:1 instructor-to-child ratio until the child is snowboarding independently to maximize the learning experience and fun! The program includes a Kids Corner session in the afternoon or you can select the on-hill program only.

Families may choose either:

  • On-hill snowboarding only, or
  • On-hill snowboarding with an afternoon Kids Corner/Nursery session.

Instructor Training Program - Snowboard

Ages 13 - 17 years
Meeting Location: Rope Tow

The Instructor in Training Program interfaces directly with TSC instructors and program participants. This is a "hands on" training program. Duties include assisting classes on and off the hill, as well as with special events. ITPs assist with classes in the morning and then attend a 2-hour afternoon session from 12:15–2:15 pm with senior instructors on proper technique and teaching methodology.

Join TSC member Katie Horan — PSIC Level 3 Instructor, Certified Health Coach, and Classical Pilates Instructor-in-Training. A unique women-only ski program blending technical development with supportive social connection.

This program is designed to help women improve their on-piste performance in a welcoming, all-female environment. From the coach to the participants, the entire group dynamic is built by and for women, with the goal of boosting confidence, building skills, and encouraging more women to grow their love of skiing.

Sessions focus on refining ski technique, increasing control, and enhancing overall performance — all while enjoying the camaraderie of a like-minded group. Coaching is tailored to intermediate and advanced skiers who are comfortable on a range of terrain and with a variety of turn shapes.

Take your skiing to the next level with the Toronto Ski Club Masters Program — designed for both experienced racers and strong technical skiers looking to improve performance, confidence, and speed in the gates.

Over 10 weekends, athletes will develop stronger technical fundamentals, tactical awareness, and race execution through focused freeski drills, gate training, and high-level coaching in a supportive team environment.
